- Calligra Office 4.0 has been released. This is the KDE suite of office applications, and includes word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, and vector graphics applications. This version has been upgraded to Qt6 and KDE Frameworks 6.
- Sovereign Tech Fund to Invest €686,400 in FreeBSD Infrastructure Modernization
- Fedora announced Flock to Fedora 2024 videos are starting to be published online.
- Elastic is open source again. Dan Brown responds:

- GNU Screen 5.0.0 was released
